Klaipeda bans beach smoking

The Lithuanian seaside town of Klaipeda has banned smoking on its beaches.

The ban will hold from June 1 to September 15. Violators will face a fine.

Several smoking spots will be established in beaches and will be situated close to baywatch stations.
