Culture Factory

Jonas Hill and the territory of an abandoned tobacco factory encompass 12 ha. in the eastern part of Klaipėda's Old Town, on the left bank of the Dane River. Plans for the expansive 9000 m2 factory include establishing a centre of culture and creativity, which will attract a wide-ranging spectrum of artists and creative industries. New facilities which will host a 300 seat auditorium, conference and cinema halls, dance, record and movie studios, outside expositions, information centers, etc., are also being planned for the location.

Estimated value of the project is ~ 18 mln. EUR
